Pathway21 is working with the following organizations to continually expand the value and benefits of the Materials Marketplace and to scale the circular economy across the U.S. and worldwide.

Pathway21 is a nongovernment member of the Environmental Council of States, a national nonprofit, nonpartisan association of state and territorial environmental agency leaders. ECOS aims to improve the capability of state environmental agencies and their leaders to protect and improve human health and the environment across the U.S.

The US BCSD facilitates company-to-company industrial reuse opportunities that support the culture shift to a circular, closed-loop economy. It launched the Materials Marketplace platform.

Pathway21 is a member of the Materials Leadership Council, a joint initiative between ECOS and the U.S. BCSD. The public-private partnership connects the capabilities and interests of state and business leaders to scale creative materials reuse across industries. The initiative encourages use of the Materials Marketplace and develops policy solutions that support shared goals.

Pathway21 is a member of the Suppliers Partnership for the Environment, an innovative partnership between global automotive manufacturers, their suppliers and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. The association identifies and implements projects that advance environmental sustainability while providing economic value to the automotive supply chain.

The Vietnam BCSD is part of the World BCSD network of sustainable business councils. VBCSD is working with Pathway21 to establish a Materials Marketplace in Vietnam, with initial funding from P4G Partnership.

P4G is a network of world leaders seeking breakthroughs in green economic growth. It targets game-changing actions to supply humanity’s greatest needs: food, water, energy and healthy cities. P4G is supporting establishment of a Vietnam Materials Marketplace with startup funding and advisory help.

BCSD Turkey is part of the World BCSD network of sustainable business councils. BCSD Turkey increases business awareness of sustainable development and supports relevant projects. The Turkey Materials Marketplace, established in partnership with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, is an example.
